Kinda Like Groundhog Day

Haven't been blogging lately because we are stuck in Minnesota!  We knew when we came to the Twin Cities area, that we would be staying for  a bit so we could catch up with friends and family.  We also knew that we had to have some repair work done on our truck and warranty work done on our trailer.  Little did we know that it would take weeks to get the truck repair done and that after 6 weeks and 2 trips to Pleasureland RV, they still haven't fixed the trailer problem.

Met up with the kids for dinner at Stout's in Roseville.

After my Ringmaster stint at the Region 10 Arabian Horse Show, we headed up to William O'Brien State Park.  What a beautiful park!  We had a great time catching up with old friends and neighbors - lunches, parties-we even entertained Dave & Kathi Bartel in our humble little abode!  We finished our time "on the east side" by attending Lindsey Jablonski & Nick Brodt's beautiful wedding. Lindsey, Alycia & Brooke spend tons of time together in their growing up years, so she seems like another daughter to us.

Alycia was Lindsey's maid of honor

The beautiful mother of the bride,
my very dear friend, Jackie

From William O'Brien, we headed over to the west side of the Twin Cities to stay with Brooke & Johnny for a couple of weeks (we thought!). We have had lots of fun, though....
went out on Brooke & Johnny's boat

went to a Twins game
Had a great 4th of July at Johnny's sister & brother in law's.
Bob & Jolena hosted a Crawfish Boil -yum!
THANK YOU BOB & JOLENA!

Brooke & I enjoying the Sangria.

Brooke's nieces, Maci & Savannah.

We took a quick trip down to Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.  Brooke had to haul a horse down for her boss and asked us to help drive.
Do you think we got conned?

I has been really wet in Lexington - there was standing water everywhere.
But it is still a beautiful park - the whole area is so horsey!

The Big Barn & Hall of Champions

We also had a chance to catch up with our friends at the Pyramid Society as their offices are at the Park.  We hoped to attend the Event in 2016, but found out it conflicts with Region 10 - darn!

So, we are still hanging out in Minnesota - hoping that next week they will be able to fix the problem with our slides (3rd time's the charm, right?) and we can get back on the road!
Guess we can visit more wineries!
